The Studio

Moving to LA I worked at the Janius Gallery, selling Memphis furniture.  Soon after I started my interior design firm and quickly got connected with Richard Landry Design.

While raising my family in Montecito, I continued working independently and with Bob Easton Architect.  During that time I was also active with the Montecito Association History, writing for the Montecito Journal, and doing research for Historic Landmark Advisory Commission.

My love of architecture developed wandering through estates in Hope Ranch as a child, not knowing that these were the works of George Washington Smith and Reginald Johnson and spending summers in Europe.

I started designing and making stained glass windows which led me to getting a BFA in Interior Design at California College of Arts in Oakland.  My first job was with the Santa Barbara architect, Gil Garcia.

My builder introduced me to Marion Gregston, who became my designer and muse for every detail of the project. I now have a beautiful custom home, flawless in every detail and the quality of the build, and the craftsmanship stuns everyone who comes here

Our Mission

My firm is predicated on the notion of timeless design– be it modernist or traditional in inspiration. Our work rarely reflects the latest trend. Rather, we choose a more thoughtful and deliberate approach to designing environments for both residential and commercial interiors. With respect to architecture and site, we seek to create an atmosphere that exudes comfort, harmony and a lack of pretense.

Our process is a collaborative one, and we look to our clients not only to accompany us but to guide us toward our intended goal—a setting that reflects the values, sensibilities, lifestyle and intelligence of the people who inhabit it.
